Haemostasis

The haemostasis panel explores coagulation: it is ordered before an invasive procedure, to monitor anticoagulant therapy, or in the work-up of abnormal bleeding. The citrate tube must be filled to the line.

This panel's reference ranges, in the app

Reference ranges by population, critical values, two units and instant search. Offline, on placement or while studying.

Why the values aren't on this page

Reference ranges vary with the laboratory, the method, age and sex. In the app, each test shows its ranges by population, in two units, with critical values and their source. On a patient's result, the range printed by the lab is always the one that counts.
